F oreign delegates travelling to Thailand to attend the 15 th Congress of the Federation of Asian Veterinary Associations, FAVA & OIE Symposium (FAVA2008) may have to request for a visa from Thai Embassy or Consulate-General in their originating countries.
S ome foreign delegates may not need visas if they are citizens of any of the 40 countries given tourist visa exemption by the kingdom of Thailand . In addition, visa may be obtained on arrival by participants from 20 countries eligible for temporary visa issuance

Requests for letters of invitation:
L etters of invitation will be sent only to individuals who have registered for the symposium. In your request, please include the necessary information, e.g. the address of Thai embassy/consulate-general in your country, your address or fax number for the letter to be mailed, and any other information that you believe is needed in order to process your request.
